Loving the challenge and the fab weather!

I Had a Lovely time on the Canal last Week with my Family.

It was an amazing experience with lots to do on the way, One minute you could be doing the locks or holding a rope.

There were lots of lovely places to visit along the way and lots of beautiful scenery.

We also did dog walks which was lovely.

I would recommend doing this if you enjoy being active :)

Running and walking today - a very active Saturday. Back to tennis tomorrow!

Enjoyed using the new part of the cycle track today on the way to Treliske, and it actually felt like summer, hooray :)

Have been working and volunteering this week at the 2024 Royal Cornwall Show.

Living within 3 miles of the show ground the bike has proved to be the quickest of all forms of transport to get to and from the show. The Wadebridge Bikes Shop was happy to loan me an e - bike that I could commute on as well as display on on our stand each day to highlight active travel as a viable alternative to the car.

As part of Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network (WREN) we're keen to promote all forms of renewable energy, tech and how people can sensibly make changes in the transition to net zero whilst also saving money. Cycling tops the list of easy life style changes.

As a purist who normally rides ordinary mountain and road bikes I can admit to enjoying the fact that I can turn up in work clothes on an e-bike not dripping in sweat!

Lovely peaceful walk along the river from Tresillian into Truro this morning. So many wild flowers!

Cycled from Bodmin Jail to Padstow yesterday in the sunshine. What more could you want :)

Wonderful walk up on the old clayworks today in search of dingy skipper butterflies – I spotted at least half a dozen – and simply to enjoy being up there in peace and quiet, with beautiful flowers and the sounds of meadow pipit, skylark and cuckoo.
